Fatboy...As Randyg mentioned, I also play standing higher over the cue than many players...although it is not due to back pain, or any other reason. I just feel more comfortable playing that way. Getting low over the cue has no bearing on being able to "finish" your stroke without an elbow drop. I'd be more than happy to work with you and show you how.
