NOPE. I'd use Juma instead. Plenty of the Elforyn that gets shipped out is crap IMO. It is a poor ivory substitute that is way overpriced for what it is. I and one of my friends have had to ship back rods that were super streaky and unusable. Pretty sad for the price. The total inconsistency is why Cue Components stopped selling it.
That said, I have some here if you want to buy it. It is butt sized. I also have some ferrule rod as well.
I do like how it smells when cut though....
We stopped selling the stufff for several reasons, one of which is that it sucks (IMHO of course) and the second is their arrogant attitude which is a whole different story which I'll save for a different day.
Anyway.... Elforyn is what it is and we stopped carrying it well over a year ago. We did some testing and you can see for yourself and make your own determination whether to use it or not. We won't be using or selling it.

Thanks Joe. Elforyn was actually on my list for the next time I placed an order. I was going to try it in ring billets. Guess I'll just stick with Ivory.
yeah i like it also, the 2 pieces that i got from cue compontents were good and looked like ivory but the piece i got from atlas is like a swirl and it looks like plastic
I've had good luck using the bright white Elforyn for ferrules & joints.

Does the white justify 3 times the cost over Juma? I have never tried it......
I had a shaft set up so I could interchange a 3/8-16 theaded, capped Elforyn/Triangle, a Juma/Triangle and a MM/Triangle combo. No glue, just snug it down - it works. Many more customers preferred the hit of the E over the others.
The way I see it: Elforyn costs about a $1.06/inch. Juma costs about 49¢ per inch. I'm not going to quibble about half a buck if the customer is happy.
That said, I will still use Juma, MM, LBM, Ivorine3, etc. if the customer wants it. I'm just saying that white Elforyn has proven itself a good product. And it does smell good.
