Why is it that some cue builders don't answer emails? I emailed someone about building me a cue and never got a response. WTF?

ridewiththewind said:There could be any number of reasons for the lack of response. Perhaps your email got lost inadvertently in their SPAM folder, or they are away currently from their computer, or even so much as some are just not real computer savvy. Some are super busy, and do not get to their email all that often. I would suspect that there are even some that likely get hundreds of emails a day inquiring, and they simply do not have the time to get to them all. Could also be that they are no longer taking orders...and therefore chooses not to respond. Seriously, this list of 'what ifs' could go on and on. Some are just not very good in the correspondence department.
Some makers are easier to reach via the good ol' fashioned telephone..have you attempted to place a call to whom you are trying to reach? Some prefer to do business this way.
My feeling is, if you are satisfied that you have made every attempt to make contact with the maker, and they do not respond...then perhaps it's time to move on to a different cue maker. Some are just easier to work with than others...afterall, cue makers are people too...with all the various personalities the rest of us have. it is what it is.
