Englewood, CO

I can let you try out the Mighty Lucasi and since you are not too particular on food we can go across the street from Felt to the King Soopers and get some noodles in a cup. They have hot water there and plastic spoons so we can split one. My treat.
And for entertainment we can go to the liqueur store next to Kings and buy a handful of Vodka shooters(you pay) and walk 2 blocks to Broadway and hand them out to the homeless guys.
Measureman knows how to entertain out of town guests.

Sounds like a plan.

Unless you change plans and decide to stay downtown and play just at The Wyncoop and Tarantula, you'll need a car. The transit system is ok, but it can be a little inconvenient. If you have a car, downtown isn't a bad idea, it's central to just about everything and many more accomodations to choose from, plenty of drinkin' stops, a ton of restaurants and just a few minutes away from Hanks, (in my opinion) a pretty good must see old time classic pool hall. It's undergone several name and ownership-management changes over the years but has changed very little over the years. Some of the better players in town have always frequented that place.
I've never been there, but I'm told if you come to Denver and want to play pool, your trip isn't complete unless you visit Zanzibar (downtown).
But regardless of where you stay and where you play, it sounds like a real good time.

I thought we might need a car. Thanks!

But didn't I read about where the locals thought the cost of water was too high at Hanks?

The name Zanzibar has a intriguing sound to it.
