What's the best bit for engraving small text? I tried this 90º one but the point is too flat.

Which one of these has anyone had good luck with?

I think I'll go try just a Ø.031 end mill.

Atlas carries one with a much sharper point than that one has.

Thanks, I never even thought of them. I figured they would be more expensive than the source but I think I'll try a 60º from them when I place another order.

A #1 Center Drill works very well, I've been using them for many years in metalworking, and a heck of a lot cheaper than engraving tools.

I use the 30 deg for wood, phenolic & ivory and the 60 deg for metal.
