envelope case almost done

hey ive had so many responses to the 2x4 that isnt even completed yet i figured id post my envelope case. i like this color better than the other brown but thats jmo. I still need to stitch around it again with the alternate color lace that i dyed but ive been so busy i havent had time. also the interior is a cheap black felt that is too thin i feel and i wouldnt use this on anything ever but i was making this for me and i knew i would make myself something else later anyways.

let me know what you think also...and yes even jb can rip me... :o) just kidding. constructive criticism welcome.

toeboy aka mr rikard out of texas. greytop now owns that cue.

the stamping on the letters didnt work out too hot because i was impatient and used some carnuba wax to seal and protect it before the dye was completely dry. so the dye was soaked up by me when i hit it with the wax. plus i was going to try and bend the flap over, and decided it would look and work better if i v grooved the top. it would keep the name flatter and keep the impressions from spreading out when folded.
live and learn i guess. of course id never let that slide if it was going out to anyone else, but i needed a case asap.
