Crap, I'm sorry. My lifelong friend Enzo passed away Friday morning (Feb 14).
Sadly about 5 weeks ago he hurt himself pushing a coffee table in his apartment and after a couple of days of pain a friend set him up with a doctors visit at the hospital and after numerous testing found cancer throughout his bones and lungs.
He was adamant about not staying in the hospital but they could not prescribe the pain meds he needed unless he was under hospice care so he was set up with them and was able to have a couple of items that made it more comfortable for him and visits a couple days a week by a nurse.
His was fine and at peace with it and handled it like everything else he did in life. Realistically and truthfully.
A lot of people on here knew him from the DCC driving folks back and forth from the airport for a few years there.
He was a mainstay from the infamous “Rack” in Detroit Michigan and well known by most all players and gamblers around the country.

I was sorry to read this! I spoke to Enzo when he received his diagnosis. He seemed calm and at peace. When I went to call him again his number was disconnected. My lifelong friend Enzo passed away Friday morning (Feb 14).

Hey Mark. We’re all closer to the end than the beginning.I was sorry to read this! I spoke to Enzo when he received his diagnosis. He seemed calm and at peace. When I went to call him again his number was disconnected.
Enzo and I were friends for probably 40+ years. We knew each other from the track, the rack and all kinds of action around Detroit. He was a great guy, liked what he did and enjoyed life.
Here are a few photos of him I found.
