Epidemy of concentration

The twilight zone maybe ... three wrong balls ????? I'd've gone drinking after the second !

Dave

I'd have gone drinking after the first one! Or maybe he was drinking. I think the only time I could have shot the wrong ball, (using the CB of course :D) was when drinking. But I don't remember it happening. ha ha ha

Well........................................................actually, it's epitome. :D ;)

Sorry but you're both wrong. The word he was trying to spell is "etiology" which is a medical term for the root cause of - "etiology unknown" is a term that means they don't know what caused it. It is a common term in the psych field because there are so many maladies that the cause is unknown.

Captain,

Your story reminds me of Steve Mizerak when he played Paul Newman in the COM when he said, "I didn't deserve that" and Paul Newman said, "Yes you did". Most people get a case of the "stupids" one time or another, well, except for me that is. LOL!! Hell, I've been known to play on the wrong table let alone the wrong ball!

I thought the use of the word "epidemy" was interestingly appropriate.

No, I think he meant "epitome" with sarcasm in context.

I was referring to the quote from Mjanti, "We've all been there ! As Pete Lafond said, there's a word for it and that's a brainfart (etymology unknown). "

In this instance, I think he was trying to use the word etiology, brainfart being some type of medical condition. I don't have any idea what the Captain was getting at with his word.

I don't have enough active brain cells to keep up with this thread. :)
