Equality In Pool

It’s refreshing to see women being given such a fair crack of the whip in pool. There are many walks of life where outmoded male chauvinism still holds sway. Not so on the green er.. coloured baize. The mere existence of the WPBA is a testament to that.

There can’t be many other sports so unencumbered by stone-age dogma that it allows equal access, regardless of whether you can play properly. I think we can give ourselves a well deserved pat on the back. I know if I was a woman I would be more than happy to compete in a sport where my opponent was prepared to judge me entirely on my abilities, and not unfairly pigeonhole me because of sexist preconceptions simply because I had breasts and statistically ripped the cloth more often.

I hope you're not implying anything. I'm entirely new man I can assure you. In fact I make it a point of only drinking in pubs that have a ladies darts team. There was a time they weren't even allowed in the bar, never mind to abuse the facilities. Things have moved on since then thank god. Plus you can guarantee the dart board will be in such pristine condition you can ignore the splintered scoreboard and broken light.

maybe not so equal

Do you AZB Women have any problems clearing your mind and meditating while you play?
Most women are self-concious about sticking their butts out so far, then again Ive seen the opposite, where women hike thier butts up like they are showing it off. Men dont think about that.

Is that why there are all these threads about women not competeing with the men because they would never win???

Okay, seriously... If you put me up against a dancing-elephant who couldn't run 3-balls, I'd still win.

Yes, picture that. A dancing-elephant with all the trimings. A little tutu, some ballerina slippers and a tiara.

I AM OUT!

That's so sad!!! I can't help but remember her from her thin days!

So um, how much weight do you think she'll need?

I don't think she needs any...she's already fully qualified as an elephant.

Speaking of elephants, I thought I'd share a picture that I took at San Diego's Wild Animal Park, enjoy:
