i think pool is very sexist....are you kidding!! just talk to a male player OFF THE RECORD, and ask him what he REALLY thinks of his female "counterpart".

as for men playing women, that's the nature of the game, and has nothing to do with the non-presense of caveman dogma. most pool(in leagues) is played with handicaps,,,so if you give a lesser player a big enough handicap, he/she will be taken seriously.

pool remains the last bastion of male chauvinism, boro nut. the wpba is alive because it offers something to an apathetic television audience that the men cannot, not because the women play as equals.

i actually think there are MANY sports where women are considered equals, even though they cannot compete equally with the men.....and i think this state of mind is more important than whether or not the women can ACTUALLY COMPETE against the men.
