Ernie Martinez Cue
Today I have a received a cue that I was hoping to owe for quite some time....Ernie Martinez !!!
I decided to go with a plane jane in Tulipwood which is really hard to get these days so it took some time until Ernie got a nice piece of Tulipwood. Anyway, beside Tulipwood I wanted Ernie's recognizeable rings, Hoppe Ring and nice black leather.
So, the cue came out gorgeous and I am absolutely deligthed!
The workmanship is perfect and shaft wood used is great, really great.
It was amazingly nice working with Ernie on this project but beside him I have to thank Adam Gonzales who helps Ernie with correspondence and some other things.
Adam is amazingly nice, helpful and polite guy and without his help all this would much more difficult!
So, thank you Adam very much.
Talking Ernie...I always wanted to have a cue from him but never had one. Tried many of his cues though and each played perfectly and was balanced great. Ernie is an old fashion type of cue maker who doesn't do much words and prefer doing business in person or taking orders on the phone and believe it or not I like this type of old school cue makers and appreciate knowledge they have and got through years of building cues.
But for all of those who do business ratherly by texting....good thing is that there is Adam there and he will take care of you if you decide to get one of Ernie's cue....and believe me you will never regret!
