Trying to get a hold of Scruggsinhand re: the Ernie Martinez list. If anyone knows how I can contact him I would really appreciate it.

Update on 2nd Batch

Hi all,

As promised, I am updating you as I learn what's up regarding the 2nd batch of cues from Ernie. Again, his business manager is still excited about the cues Ernie is making for this 2nd batch, but he informs me they are running a little behind (so unusual for a cue maker :o). He is tryind to get them completed by Thanksgiving. More when I learn more.

I Have a REAL Date of Delivery

Hi Again,

Just spoke with Ernie & his business manager and they have set a firm date of December 8th to have 10 cues ready for shipment. If they catch up, there may be 2 more, but we are not committing to 12, just the 10 (but are hopeful). It may be within the 1st week of Dec so it could be a couple earlier so please keep checking this thread.

We're all very excited to see the finished product. Merry Christmas to at least 10 of you very supportive AZers. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the update. How many have been placed already? Are there still only 3 sold?

I'm just trying to figure out if I'll be this batch or the next :D Can't wait.

It's hard to believe but there has only been the 3 delivered so far. I'm told you all will be more than pleased with this batch!

hey Sixpack.. if you go to the first page like in the first or second post there is a list.. you look to be #17th..

Thanks. Yes, I just wondered if the SOLD markings on the list were accurate...because as it is I will miss this batch by 2 or 4, depending on if he makes the other two.

BTW - If anybody towards the end of this batch wants to trade and have a better pick on the next batch, let me know. I'd rather have one sooner than a better choice later because I know they'll all be great.

I guess I could begin a secondary list, but I believe once Ernie has proven himself reliable (so far, so good), the ordering process would change by the end of this list. Plus, if I do start a secondary list there would be no price protection as with the 1st 54.

So with all that, I would prefer to hold off adding names at least until the 3rd batch has been delivered - at that time I will have a discussion with the team and see what they would like to do.

Is that OK?

The AZ members have been so great during this process I don't wan't anyone to feel left out - but I don't want to over extend our efforts either. Please be patient & keep in touch down the road.

Totally understandable, I'm sure everyone agrees that what youre doing is above and beyond normal expectations and we completely appreciate it.

2nd Batch Coming Soon!

Happy Holidays!

Just heard from Ernie and he said he would have the 2nd Batch of cues completed by Friday, 12/8. I anticipate a day or so for pictures to be taken, descriptions written up, etc. then forwarded to me for posting. So please be on the lookout for the post w/pictures Saturday or Sunday the latest (barring unforeseen delays). If there are delays I will let you know as soon as I know.

I believe there will be at least 10 but could be 1 or 2 more.

Here are the next ten in the queue as a reminder. Since the first one get first pick and so on, it would help the process if you all keep an eye out for the post so you can make as quick of a decision as possible to keep the flow going.

Ernie commited to 18 for the next 2 batches (9 & 9). Since he's delivering 10 or more, not sure what that means for next batch. I would guess another 9 or 10 but don't quote me on that...8 at least.

Sorry all, the 2nd batch is going to be a little later than anticipated. Just heard from Ernie's Bus. Manager that he will begin spraying this weekend.

This should not delay things more than a week so I guess we're looking at posting the pics and ready to roll as soon as Friday the 15th but no later than Sunday the 17th...again :o.
