Hello All,

First, the good news, Ernie is doing great and thanks everyone that has helped him get back on his feet. That includes all those on the list that have purchased cues and those on the list that will purchase cues in the future. You have all been awesome and a big part of inspiring Ernie to get "back in the game". Ernie's priorty is still to be true to the remainder of the list.

Now for the better news, because of the big change in the cue climate, the many dropouts from the list in each batch for various reasons, and the fact that Ernie is "back in the game" - stronger than before, there has been a change in the administration of the list...

Instead of Ernie making cues he thinks will sell in batches, those on the list will simpley contact Ernie directly to order what you want - with no deposit. Plainjane to fancy w/no deposit.

Here's Ernie Martinez' contact info...

cell: (720) 297-7441, email: info@emcues.com
.

(He will also have a website up within the next couple months).

So here's how it will go. Anyone can now order a cue directly from Ernie but those on the list get priority based on their position. Below is a list of those remaining on the list and in the order they were received. Of course highest up on the list gets priority over those further down, but this list gets priority over those not on the list or those that have already purchased from the batches. I hope this is clear. Ernie wants to make sure that all those that have been patiently waiting gets theirs first if they still want a cue. Again, he thanks you!

I also want to personally thank you all for your great support of the list/batch threads and being so receptive and giving to getting Ernie back on his feet. I hope you all feel you're getting somethig out of this, too. That was the original intent. I also want to thank "Jazz" for initially planting the seed of creating a list. Thanks, Ho!

For those that have been following the list threads, you already know that Ernie is not the fastest - he just can't rush what he does and it has to be right. So please be patient.

Also, I urge all international buys to email Ernie as he does not have international calling on his cell phone. You can call him, but he would not be able to call you back.

Here's the current remainder of the list. I hope you all get what you want and thanks, again.

Dave

Thank you Regas. The "project" has been fun, especially since it worked out so well for Ernie. I just saw Ernie yesterday and he's doing great (although he put on a few pounds ).

I'll try to keep this thread bumped so everyone on the list can see it so they know what to expect.

Cheers, Dave

Dave, I just wanted to comment on the great job you did keeping up with the Internet portion of the business for Ernie. He couldn't have done so well without you, and you handled everything in a very professional way and should be commended for it. I hope that Ernie and Terry appreciate it. I know that there was a lot of work involved, especially trying to keep everyone happy, but you did it with class.

I must have missed you at the Bert Kellerman Tournament, but I didn't go on Saturday, and since yesterday was my birthday I couldn't stay for the finals. I guess Brandon Shuff won it, Tony Piazza took second. I had you as my favorite to win though, but man that Brandon can play. Danny Medina wasn't playing too badly either.

Keep in touch

Ted

Thanks for nice words, Ted. It was a lot of work but it was fun.

I haven't been playing much and when I do it's not in real competion (just local handicap tourney) so after fighting back from 5-1 down, race to 7 alternate break, I got it to 6-6 and had a shot at the 4 ball but the 6 was frozen on the cushion about 1/2 inch from the side pocket. I made the 4 & 5 played shape for a 3 rail hook which I executed perfectly, got ball in hand and couldn't get out - ball in hand w/3 balls on the table :grin-square:. I left myself a way tougher shot on the 9 and over cut it by about 1/2 of ball. I finished 9-12 and I couldn't sleep last night because I kept thinking about how well I played to get back in it w/a great safety and I dogged my brains out. I can't believe I'm reliving this . I lost my first match and won 4 straight to get 9-12.

Brandon plays very well, he has that extra gear when he needs it, but he didn't in this tourney - he was the class of the field.

You're welcome. It's nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel, isn't it?

afternoon bump to make sure all on the list will see this. If any of you reading this know someone on the list, please make sure they know to look at it. Thanks.

Hi Dave,

Please remove me from the list.

Thanks,
Cyrus

Hi Cyrus,

Thanks for the heads up, but there is no need to be removed from list anymore. All those wanting Ernie to make them a cue simply contacts Ernie directly. The list is how Ernie will ultimately prioritize the queue.

Those that have patiently waited on the list will get higher priority than those that have previously purchased one from the batches, or not on the list at all. All you have to do is contact Ernie and order what you want. My job is done .

Dave

One last bump to make sure all that want/should read this, reads this.

Thanks again for everything,

Dave

Thanks Dave.

I just saw your post this morning.

I appreciate all your help in keeping up with the list, cue batches, etc.

Ernie Martinez Cue Orders

I shot Ernie an email and never heard back.

Anyone else had any luck that was on the waiting list?

I have received a PM of someone on the list unhappy with the new arrangement but I believe it's because there was a misunderstanding so I thought I'd try again. We believe this is actually a good thing for all on the list.

Instead of Ernie making cues he thinks people on the list will like, he is allowing all those on the list to call or email him and order what you want at the same pricing structure as we offered all those on the list in batches. Just contact Ernie to order what you want: fancy; plain; type of wood; wrapless; leather wrap; whatever. The priority will be those furthest up on the list so the next in line will get theirs faster that those near the bottom of the list.

I'm sorry if this was not clear, but it is for the better. Many people were not buying the cues when it was their turn for various reasons so we had to try to sell the remaining cues to others. Because not everyone fulfilled their commitment it created a hardship for Ernie. Ernie tried to anticipate what everyone would want but when he made several pointed cues, they weren't sold, so he made several plainjanes & they weren't sold.

So now whomever would like a cue from Ernie gets to choose what they want with no down payment, same pricing as the batches and the highest priority (soonest made) goes to those at the top of the list.

What more can we do? Please contact Ernie to get your cue ordered. We all thought this would be a good thing and still believe it to be. Oh well.

You are welcome, Jazz. I enjoyed being able to help out Ernie. I hope that all on the list will take advantage of this offer and get a great cue at below market price if not on the list originally.

Dave

But it's I who want to thank you, and all of the AZ'rs that made this possible.

Great, I'm glad you saw it. If anyone knows of anybody else on the list that may not have seen this thread, it would be great if you can let them know about it.
