Would there be any interest for a new merry widow Ernie Martinez with two shafts and a soft case for $20 a spot 42 spots??
Would appreciate some feedback
Thanks

??

Why does a guy like you even look at raffles? All you do is complain, Last time it was about a dollar this time it is $20 is to much for a 750.00 dollar new que??

whats wrong with the price? a little extra to run a raffle is always allowed and this isnt much overpriced based on what these cues sell for

You asked a question, and I answered it. If you don't like the answer, why did you ask? Did you expect everybody to start sucking each other off over a nondescript cue? Since it is such a great cue, just keep it for yourself.

I damn sure wouldn't either, considering I purchased a brand new EM BEM merry widow for $425. They were selling direct for $575, so at over $800? Pass.

Maybe you should hook up with RackRunner - he's got it down.... you could pull it off with ease.

I really not looking to argue with two idiots! I asked who would be interested? Not who was looking to cut down, belittle and make crude comments. Em does not sell merry widows direct for $575 he just sold 10 or so three months ago on az for 625 plus 125 for the extra shaft but I know everybody always knows of a better deal they once got. Please keep your two cents( I mean 1 dollar)to yourself, I am not looking to fight and it sure seems it is always you two who love to stir the pot
God Bless

Seems to me as if you were soliciting for comments. Nobody here has resorted to name calling, which in your feeble little mind is your only retort, so I guess this just points out the type of person a would-be buyer would have to deal with.

Do I really need to drudge up the thread in which they were being sold for $575?

What is painfully obvious is fair market value is obviously too difficult to comprehend.

And you continue to prove it.

Well somebody does that's for sure.

Here lets take a look see:

1. Once again you know nothing about what the OP paid for the cue, extra shaft and the case. (do you feel like an ignoramous yet?)

2. Not everybody buys their cues from the maker. Some buy them second market and may have actually paid more than what Erie would have charged. (do you feel like an ignoramous yet?)

3. Even if you buy direct from EM you have to wait. Some like that instant gratification and find value in not having to wait for a cue to be built. (do you feel like an ignoramous yet?)

4.. Even if he did buy it from Erie M. 1pRoscoe (your twin) claims they sell for 575.00. He does however neglect the cost of the extra shaft..
Lets say it's at least 100.00
He also neglects the case. Lets says it's real cheap since I don't know anything about it and say $25.00

hmmm
575.00
100.00
25.00
= 700.00

Raffle will take in 840.00
Minus 0.03 25.2
Minus shipping 20.00
= -------------
794.8

Oh MY GOD that gouging BA*S**d is making $95.00!!!!
(Now don't forget I was being generous with the numbers)
So the OP/seller makes 95.00 and someone gets a nice cue for 20.00

Do you feel like an ignoramous yet? Because to me you sure do look like one.

Love

I see the seller as confirmed my number may be a little on the low side.

Good because you have none.
Look, dude... In all seriousness, I can guesstimate by your business sense that you aren't in anything remotely close to what could be considered an economics, sales, or business management field. You may be in service, waste management, or perhaps even manual labor, but at the end of the day, profit may not be possible.

"Fair market value" does not mean cost + profit = selling price. It means "what the market is willing to bear". This may infact be below your margin threshold, equating in a negative margin, but sometimes, it happens.

You solicited for advise, it came. It may not be the desired response, but it's a truthful one.

There is nothing you could type/say that would make me feel like an ignoramus. It doesn't help your image to keep misspelling the word you're trying to use to belittle me. But, as I said earlier, you continue to prove my point.
