I should have posted earlier. It's been on for a while. Ewa is having a good showing. Kelly Fisher couldn't get it rolling with Allison but you can see that she can play.
Jeanette Lee and Mitch Laurance doing a good job with commentary.
I want to say that it is a couple of months old but I can't be sure.
That's probably pretty good advice for Live Streams since new people are coming and going all of the time.
I REALLY like Jeanette's comments. She is VERY insightful.
Kudos to the sponsors, POOLDAWG.com and DIAMOND BILLIARDS. It is nice to see the women playing on Diamond tables.
Ironic that Ewa is sponsored by Brunswick. It's been a long dry spell for EWA but she has come back with a major title victory.

yea, I think they said like 16 years,,,,,,good showing for Ewa,,,,and great to see pool on TV again,,,,,,,now if they could allow it proper respect and quit cutting the matches down to highlite reels,,,,,,,,,,,I mean,,,,they chop up a major pool event, so that they can show a documentary about a 20 year old announcement from Magic Johnson about having Aids,,,,,,,,,

Ewa did a great job! You could see how tense she was and she was able to play through the stress! Good for her!!

I watched the final few games of the Amway event this morning and the final few games of Ewa's victory this afternoon. The two ladies closed far stronger this evening.
It was great to see Ewa win. I remembered her crying after winning an artistic billiard competition a few years ago. She still very much has the desire. Watching her hold together a perfect pattern in the last game was impressive. Best I recall that was the end of a 14 year WPBA dry spell!
Wish I would have caught the whole match, I too had nascar on the tube while I was doing some work on the computer. Pool is so seldom on TV anymore that I don't even check.

Mitch Laurance kills it for me. After all these years he still knows very little about the game. He repeats those silly nick name a thousand time and hour. It sounds like the WWF or some cheep wrestling show. It cheapens the talent of these great players.
The quote of the day" Allison has to keep Kelly out of this game cause she knows if she lets her in this game she will be back int it." Im not sure how he ever got that job but after that I lowered the volume and put W.L.U.P on the radio and watch.
A classic quote was the one where he said "ok folks you're going to see the most exciting shot in pool, the reverse english draw , it takes years of practice to perform this shot." Then Bustamante proceeded to put a ton of follow and the got perfect shapes. He just said " well folks thats why they are there and Im here. What I didn't understand is he thinks not knowing basic position play makes him qualified for his commentating gig.
It was great action anyway.

This tournament was in Michigan at the end of January 2012. Last time Ewa won a WBPA tournament was against Allison in 1998. Ewa had a party today with family, Gerda H. and some other female pros to watch all the matches, Belinda Calhoun lives nearby . Congrats to Ewa and many more. Ewa and Mitch are great people who do alot for pool down here.
