i was watching the tape of the WPBA Event in Peoria that was shown on ESPN last weekend, and Jeanette made a comment that was surprising to me.
forgive my spelling, but Xiaoting Pan made a jump shot, and Steve Tipton ruled it had struck the '9' Ball first instead of the '3' Ball. i slowed it down frame by frame, and he missed the call. Jeanette felt he missed the call, and made a comment that Pan should have "Contested" the call.
have never heard of anything like that before in a WPBA Event? can a player contest a call like Jeanette said? is Contesting a shot in the official WPBA By-Laws?
and forgive me if this topic has been discussed before.
