It's amazing that the WPC didn't get any television coverage, especially with the time difference - it's not like there's anything going on over here at 2 AM. Searching sports on espn.com, billiards isn't even listed! They even have cricket in a category!!! I'll be voicing my opinion in a letter to the network, and if anyone else is interested, here is the address:

There have been mass mailings to ESPN on a subject like this before. They are just now running the BCA open from May at the end of the month. Who knows, you may get to watch the WPC while the Mosconi cup is going on in December.

Most likely in Europe and in Asia, there is a live broadcast similar to espn. Also, they are more likely to show highlights...
