So I'm surfing on the tube and see ESPN advertised World Poker at 5:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. I click the station, and lo and behold, there's New York Assassin Tony Robles and Corey Deuel battling it out at the 7-Ball Challenge held at Las Vegas. Johnny Archer and Rodney Morris are sitting in the gallery.
No advertisement ahead of this event. On the Comcast cable programming, they have it listed as World Poker.
At 6:00 p.m., EST, even though it is listed as World Poker in the programming guide, it's the same event.
Is it a compliment that Pool has replaced Poker, or did ESPN2 and/or Comcast Cable screw it up?
At any rate, it's on right now.
