Etiquette Question: Chalking at end of inning

Funny, my choice decision after reading this thread is going to be carefully and methodically chalking with each and every piece of chalk on the table before I sit down just because I have learned that my turn aint over till I sit down.:rotflmao1:
I go out of my way to be courteous to my competitor during a match unlike the guy I played last weekend who lost to me 4-1 playing 8 ball. When I went to shake this guys hand he told me"you are the luckiest effer I have seen in my life, I will play you $100 a game any day of the week". I told him I would be interested in short races for $100 a set, he said he would play, I have yet to see if he will accept the offer in the next week or 2.

Let us know how that turns out if it does. :) I love guys who blame the rolls. I know sometimes rolls go your way and sometimes they don't but either way man up, shake hands and say good game. I really hope he turns up for one of those matches so you can set him straight.

4 - 1 Lucky, eh. I should be so lucky. Tell me, did you continue to be polite to him?
After you beat him out of his child support, you might just mention to him that he must be your good luck piece

As long as he doesn't KEEP the chalk, I could care less. I would suggest getting to the table after he has left. Me personally, I'm usually sitting down when it's not my turn, but I'm over 60, and need to save my energy, hence I sit at every opportunity.

I am going to offer to play some sets with him in the next couple of weeks, I will keep you guys in the loop as far as what happens. You get a pretty good idea how good a guy plays when you play him, I am kind of excited to get a shot at a little gambling with him, if you know what I mean.
