Did you guys hear what happend in the semi-final? A Norwegian called Steffen Wolf were up around 63 to -4 in a race to 100 against Ederer Manuel from Germany. Manuel gets to the table and runs 104 and out. he banked the top ball to the middle pocket 6 or 7 times in a row!! the table was tapped.

Hussa,

Manuel Ederer is very sure one of the greatest talents i ve seen for a long time. To speak just *about a talent* wouldn t show how strong he already is. He already is playing inthe first division here in germany. And in my opinion Manuel and his team-mate Dominique Jentsch will be soon very well known to the pool-world. Both are amazing players.

Ederer just won the german championship undefeated in straight-pool, and in 9-Ball he finished with 3rd place.
Jentsch finsihed straight-pool with 3rd place, 9-ball 1st place, and 8-ball 2nd place.

This shows a good *picture* how strong and how constantly both are already playing in big tournaments.

lg from overseas,

Ingo

nothing to add my friend ! Even though banking that ball 6 or 7 times in a row is kinda sick lol....

By this do you mean he banked one of the two balls near the foot spot in a full 14-ball rack cross-side? Of course this is a known shot, but it is considered too risky under typical conditions.

thx for the input Ratta, i didnt know much about Manuel. I will watch out for him:)

yea thats the shot im talking about Jewett. it went everytime on the semi-finals table. You cant blaim Manuel for taking advantage off it, hes just smart. But I hope they wont "tapp" the tables next year.
