Eurotour Tallinn 18-20 february.

Soufi 9-6 winner! At 8-6, FSR missed a pretty easy 7-ball. But, yes, nice to see that Soufi may be here to stay.

He also beat Feijen, Fortunski, Kaplan, and Labutis on the way to the finals.

FSR is scheduled to be in Vegas in 2 days, but Soufi is not on the list.

I had this tourney planned as learning trip. Of course i wanted to do well but realistically i could not wait to perform my best.
Last time i played world class tournament was 2017 in U.S.
Most difficult part was adjusting to slippery tables. Next one was safety play. I also had my break off badly.
Next summer Finland have European Champs and Eurotour back to back. I want to go play that Eurotour and do well this time.
I really need put my 9ball break together and practice a lot of safeties. Maybe also simulate table conditions with silicone if i cant get on new tables before tourney.
I hope that's recipe for doing better next time :)

a heater under the table maybe? and whatever polish or wax they use

he's been playing in the german league for years. but i think there are plenty of pool tables in damascus, seen quite a few syrians playing well
I just saw the interview with him on Doggin’ It, and he said his father owned a pool hall in Syria! Apparently he played as a child, then moved to Turkey and wanted to play more, so crossed… surreptitiously… into Germany. I think there’s a lot more to the story, but that’s what I got out of it.
