Vegas in July was sure a good show.

I normally would not travel from Alaska to Vegas in July but at the time I figured this may be my best chance to see one of the IPT events. The blush was still on the rose. People were excited and all those players in suites! I went as a skeptic but they really seemed to have their act together. I left feeling assured they would be around for a while.

Too bad ...It was sure a good show

I do think there will be some IPT tournaments in 2007.
Although I can understand how hard it is for some people to be optomistic at this juncture, the IPT has officially cancelled only one tournament.
Until I see Deno quit or the IPT annoucing its bankrupt I will still believe that something may come of it.
Of course, if the players don't get paid soon........its over.
I hold out hope that they will be paid. I understand that everyone thinks because its been so long now, it must mean that they'll never be paid.
On the surface, it does look gloomy, but, we really don't know what is going on behind the scenes.
So far, the IPT is maintaining that the "Players will be paid"......Lets see.
I really do feel for the players and would hate to be in their shoes right now.
Just remember, the people in these forums don't know for sure some of the things they claim to know. Speculation is not fact.
Hang in there.

And I think in 2007 Disney will remake Bambi, and his mommy won't get capped by the mean-evil humans.

The “show” I speak of was just an illusion. This illusion came at an extraordinary price. It came at the expense of the hopes, dreams and aspirations of not only the players but generations of individuals in all aspects of the game waiting for a moment like that. Tragic as the individual players finances are, the reality of so many being exploited will live on well after the financial setbacks have been recovered.

The future has been tainted.
