i am curious to hear comments on this tour. i think it might be just as beneficial as the ipt tour if not better. its easier to join, more players can benefit from this tour. what do you think?

This is not designed to compete, supplement, or replace the IPT. It is totally separate, and on another level. The IPT is limited to 150 players each year, all hand-picked, and most of which will be top-level pro players. The Evolution Billiards Tour is open to anyone who wants to pony up the entry and the $100 registration fee. The IPT has a $200 entry, and this tour has a $500 entry...big difference! Although not promoted by a billionaire, the people fronting this tour have guaranteed over $1.5 million, in added money, for the first year's events (3)...so they definitely have some backing behind them. This new tour proposes to share "profits" with the tour players, along with providing health insurance, and prescription benefits. I don't know how that will work, but I'm signed up, and giving them the benefit of the doubt. Their insurance end is connected with Blue Cross, which is a huge medical insurance company. I hope they get tons of players...that will keep them going for future year's events. The first event goes off the last week of Feb., and I plan to be there!

Hmmm...backing....Chase,yep heard of them!....Lugz footwear, yep heard of them!.....Kodak, yep bought lotsa lotsa film from them!.....Six Flags, don't cha just love going there!.....Allstate,you're in good hands!....Blue Cross Blue Shield, yup everybody knows them!.....News Corp, oh yeah the parent company of ALL the FOX networks,newspapers,etc!!!!......Fox and Hound, yep they got one of those here in town (barboxes though) heard it's nice though!

Profit sharing, medical....hmmmm!!!

Hmmmmm....I don't think the WPA and the APBA (or whatever) should bother these guys for their 10%!!!;)
