Shame found one I really liked and was hoping to have one similar made. By waiting list do you mean you can get on one?At the moment, they don't take orders for Exceed. Waiting list is 3 years.

I currently am playing with the new ASTR line with an Ignite. It's more of a looks thing I want. I love the way Mezz cues play.About 1 year ago, they told that waiting list is 3 years.
At the moment, Mezz dealers confirmed that factory doesn't take new orders.
They still have problems to satisfy Mezz cues and shaft demand.
P.S. If you played with a top Mezz cue, the feel of Exceed will be quite similar.
Then is no reason to change to an Exceed. I play with ZZ38 cue, and it plays quite similar like plain janes Exceed I tried.I currently am playing with the new ASTR line with an Ignite. It's more of a looks thing I want. I love the way Mezz cues play.
As Exceed user/owner I have quite different experience with Exceed, I had ACE183 (top line back then and probably even now) before Exceed and when I got my Exceed I did head-to-head comparison with 4 different shafts (wx900, ExPro, Ignite, and Cynergy 11.8) with every shaft performing considerably better with Exceed butt than they did with Ace183. I did expect a better power transfer with Exceed that I experienced, it was the very reason to buy it, on the other hand a lower deflection on all the shafts paired with Exceed took me completely by surprise. I dont know why/how exactly the deflection of shafts is lower with Exceed as I am aware that only the last 15cm of the shaft should matter deflection-wise but other Exceed users I know have confirmed that same experience. Go figure..Then is no reason to change to an Exceed. I play with ZZ38 cue, and it plays quite similar like plain janes Exceed I tried.
I agree. I started with a Mezz ACE 180 then picked up an Exceed. Both cues setup exactly the same. Ignite shaft, 4” Exceed rear extension, Exceed X-ring weight at the joint, and rear weight bolt added. 62” total length at 21.7 oz. Both cues were so well balanced you couldn’t feel the weight of the cues. The fit and finish of both cues are as good as it can be.I own several Exceed cues, both plain and very fancy ones, also played with most models of Mezz cues, I can easy feel the difference between the brands and models, and in my own feeling Exceed is a better cue of the two brands.
The info I got is that Exceed inlay cues are 70% handmade, and today there is no way to order one specific model, as a dealer I just get something sometimes, maybe 2-3 cues a year or so.
