Hi folks, things are starting to heat up here. The crowd is growing, and there is talk of action....I posted this in another thread...

Well guys, I was just down at the TAR booth hanging out, and there was mention of some action. A certain world beater that is associated with the TAR crew is talking of locking up with a girl player. She is getting the 5 out and the breaks on the small table playing 10ball for 3 baggs o sand!

Nothing is set in stone, but he girls b/f? or hubby stopped by to see if the TAR action table was available tonight...soooooo it a definate maybe, but we all know how action goes.

If I hear anything else I will let you all know.

besides that, we checked into our Fantasy suite.....EXCELLENT!...we got the "Atlantis room" and it has very cool roman architecture with a big hot tub, wrought iron gates, grape vines hanging all over, and an old world feel.

Walking around the show you can tell the people are getting off work and showing up. We ran into John Bender a cue maker from Jersey. He's a good dude, and making real nice cues.

There seems to be a lot of upsets on the Pro side?....Stevie lost to Matt Krah, Mika lost to Frankie Hernandez etc....I know any of them can beat any other, but thats just my opinion.

Saw Darren Appleton and Rodney at lunch in Chumleys, but havn't seen to many of the Pros out on the floor?

The action pit is going constantly, but everything is on the small tables.

I got a funny pic for Lenny at OTR....This is a statue in our room, so I dressed him up a little! :)

talk to you all later..G.

Thanks for the report, Gerry. I was there for 6 hours today and had to come back, but did have time to shake hands with Justin and SpiderWeb. Sorry didn't get to meet you or too many others.

I did get to see the Appleton/Morris match which was good, but Appleton got frustrated at the end despite a good start. Also saw Jeanette, Allison, Parica, Hohmann, Archer, etc. I still can't believe how intimate the setting is. You literally brush elbows with all the pros.

I'm making my hotel reservations next week. I'm sick of not being able to get a room there. It's too exhausting to drive up and back the same day. It would be great to have a room to recharge every 4-5 hours and zip right back to the action.

The SBE is a true pool mecca!
