Extending predator qr-2 extension?

Hi everybody,

Has anyone ever tried to put a qr2 extension on another qr2 extension? The buttcap of the extension looks the same as the cues, so I'd think it would be possible. I'm pretty sure it's possible with te first gen qr. However, the cap on the qr2 is glued in so it's very tough to remove. Tips and experiences are welcome 😁
 
If you can't get it to work, there is a set on amazon for about $60 that comes with a few pieces, and they all screw into each other. It's matte though, not glossy, so has less friction for your grip hand than the predator OEM one. (I have both).

Can you provide a link please? There's a lot of extensions on Amazon. Thx
 
This is the one I bought (only the 2" version). You can buy from 2" to 8" in this link, and they all screw into each other. (I thought the same brand sold them all as a set also, but I can't find that now). Note, the threads are not compatible with the Predator extension. You'll have to screw the adapter this one comes with into the butt of the predator cue, then this extension can screw in.


Edit: I think ebay also has them for cheaper, I bet they are all the same. I went Amazon incase I didn't like it, I could return it easily.
 
Currently working on this. Will glue the QR2 fitting into the butt after removing the glued in rubber bumper. I do have a lathe to clean the area where the glued bumper came out of

Thanks, that's helpful! So it's not threaded? I checked with a buddy's qr1 and that bumper came out easily. Looked like the same thread as qr fitting, so I was hoping the same would be the case for the qr2
 
I just worked on one. Old Predator extension with a new Predator extension.
I had to face off the Predator 2 extension. Recess was too deep and I also had to cut some rubber off the original. The bottom and the side.
Works great now.

Like most things.
There is progress in designs.
The use of extensions cuts down on the use of a bridge.
I'm not sure that's really a good thing.
I just don't know!

Take it even further, If people knew how to hit the ball properly and get shape, extensions and bridges would be useless. I haven't needed one of them in about 6 months.
