Was wondering if there’s a way to change the butt cap to be able to use an extension on my Prewitt? Are there people making custom matching extensions or is there a way to convert it to be able to use a Mezz extension without altering how it plays without the extension?

consider this extension
it shouldnt scratch your cue
is quick and easy to use
its similar to the old hagar extensions
the carry pouch attaches to your case for easy access and transportability
i am not connected to the drill instructor but think this is a good product
alittle more info

I have used this extension for years and it works great. Two of my team mates tried it and liked it so well, they also bought one.

I would suggest the -ASK the Cuemaker - section for your post- slip on and slip over cue extensions are really not the best answer for more expensive custom cues, they are an economy fix - fine if that is all you are seeking.

Best to have a cue maker actually custom fit a removable extension for the unique rear of your custom cue.

All of the available non- slip on type extensions such as Mezz, Predator, Longoni Lo- bite, etc. require some fitting of a rear bumper/weight bolt system to the cue itself, and then the actual extension attaches to the cue for required shot making.

If your cue is not made by the company providing the rear extension system i.e. a Mezz extension for a Mezz cue etc.; then it may be possible to use one of their proprietary extension systems on your Prewitt cue, but that would require extensive research on each system to find one possibility for the Prewitt and then you would need rear end modifications to your cue to get the" proprietary"bumper/extension system to fit your cue.

Uhm...well....if you post full pictures of your cue, then probably someone can tell if it will take an extension. But, without full pictures of the entire cue from every angle, then it would be...uhm...impossible to tell. Yeah, that's it. Pictures required.
