Extension on Scorpion SCO21

First time I saw that cue, Johnny was using it. Also first time I saw Johnny in person. Looked like a $20,000 ivory masterpiece lol. Does it have to be a plugin extension? IMO extensions only have to be stable pushing the cue so there needn't be a whole lot of engineering involved. Ask some cuemakers.

That cue needs a female insert in the butt and faced off to take an extension.

I’m not a cue maker but I’m sure enough about this to make a post.

If I’m wrong I’ll near something.

This is with the screw of the bumper off. See how simple it looks inside, won't take anything threaded unless theres somekind of extension with a smaller screw like the 1 pictured. Idk

Pretty much...I do want it to remain on the cue. I hold it far back on the grip already but can't find 1 that is flush and will actually screw in. All i got is the female 1 u say from Amazon that tightens around the butt. It just doesn't feel connected to the cue. You can feel a slight movement from where u hold it to the end by the tip. Slight dip. Anyways, thanks for your input.

No offense but these are pretty lo-end chinese imports. I'd get a cue that was set-up for an extension as built. You could easily spend more than what this whole cue is worth on a bumper/extension.
That was my thought. If you’re going to go to the trouble to CORRECTLY set up a cue for a proper screw on extension at least use a cue that merits that type of work. Not a decal cue.

Eexactly, I was trying to go the cheaper route, but none of it had a solution. Currently in talks with Mcdermott for a custom cue, my forever cue. So yup I tried 😆

I understand , I’ve had a few “forever” cues. I do have one Southwest I bought in 87 still.

I respect the try, you are on the right track.
