Extreme cut shots

middle ball... top ball ... spinning the ball

You realize that all of those are required for different circumstances, right?

There are no magic tricks, or special sauce.

There is only proper alignment, proper cue-ing for what you need the cue ball to do, and a smooth stroke on that line, contacting the proper target on the cue ball at the proper speed.

Pool is not difficult. Its measure of success is largely a matter of who can repeat those steps correctly the highest number of times consecutively.

Bruce Lee wrote in the Tao of Jeet Kun Do,
"Before I learned martial arts, a punch was just a punch and a kick was just a kick. When I studied martial arts, a punch was no longer just a punch and a kick was no longer just a kick. Now I understand martial arts, and a punch is just a punch and a kick is just a kick."

When you eliminate any mysticism from the equation, and focus on what needs to take place for the shot to be successful, your game will benefit.

Whatever he just said AND a high-ball. Follow tends to make thinner cuts better. Tends to track better since its rolling not skidding.
