Extreme Draw

Ok , Ill try to make my questions as clear as I can:

I see good players, or for that matter pros, use extreme draw where the cue ball actually arches. I have trouble doing this. I can do a full table draw straight back, or if im using bottom left or right I draw it that respective direction. But I do not know how to arch the cue ball back. Can anyone enlighten me on this shot? If I have not made myself clear I will try to explain better.

I'm not completely sure what your asking, but a draw shot at an angle is what causes the arch. Also, english doesn't change your carom angle off of a ball. Good luck with the shot, and I hope this helps.

Taylor is exactly right. Any side spin that you put on the ball isn't going to change the direction the cue ball travels until it comes in contact with a rail. Straingt bottom, with a good stroke on any shot other than straight in will cause that effect your are looking for. Different conditions like cloth, cleanliness of the balls, humidity etc will make it more or less pronounced.

Take some Directional Speed off the cue ball so the bottom spin has time to grab as it's running down the Tangent Line....SPF=randyg

Merry Christmas!
