In 1974 I was stationed at Lemoore Naval Air Station,Ca., and I became friends with a short black guy nicknamed "shory" (can't remember his real name). He played AA rated 9-ball---no one could beat him. We went to the old Palace Billiards in 'Frisco, and he wacked-out everyone.
Just trying to locate him. He said his home was Seattle. He was very friendly-smiling all the time. About 5'2" with a slightly large head for his body. Appreciate any hints.
