During pool, your brain will automatically default to the visioned eye so that will be your viewpoint. If you can't see clearly with that eye....then besides playing really good position, I would work on a fractional system of aiming at cuts...i.e. measuring the angle and then knowing the appropriate fraction of ball to hit. Many others also use a line of centers for relatively straight shots and use the appropriate english to "throw" the OB in.
I too have an extremely bad right eye and wearing contacts can often blur the view in the other. I find that good position play is the best way to overcome a lot. Also, I am extremely right handed, but as my dominant eye is my left I play pool lefty and that may help also.
One more thing. You HAVE to KNOW your safety play for those tough ones!!
