Eyes Adjustment to Lighting B4 Playing

Just put this into another post..i find it critical to let your eyes

adjust at least 45 min after entering the room..this allows for

proper allignment since each eye is different..i have always felt

it was the difference between a good night or bad one..what do

you think..any stories about playing before and after they adjust..

Would be interested to see a study on this as it makes sense. When skydivers perform night jumps we used to sit in a dark room for about an hour to let our eyes adjust to the night. One thing I have found is that in rooms where the lighting is drastically different between table and the surrounding area, it takes me longer to adjust. If the table is super bright and the room is dark you eyes have to work overtime when you are getting up and down on a shot.
