The Stretch System, I think it was called, utilized a bridge system to jump balls in the middle of the table also, originally designed by Mike Danner who has since passed away.

I wonder if I took one of those long Shoe Horns and converted it to be able to bridge over balls with it, if it would be considered illegal?

I have been wanting to put a little tribute about Mike Danner and his Stretch System on my site, since I was the last distributor and backer for his Stretch System. I have been hearing for a few years that he passed away and I have not been able to find any obituaries or dates or anything. He just disappeared and his phone was disconnected. I saw you post about his passing and other posts about knowing him and wondered if you knew anywhere I could find some details of his passing.

If I am not mistaken, the Baton Rouge pool crowd knew him very well, I will inquire with them to see if they know additional details.

Is that his original patent number? He was devastated by Wade Crane passing and said he was just lost without Wade. He was at my shop talking about getting the Stretch molds cleaned up and was trying to sell them to me the last time I heard from him, then not another word or anything. Someone from Washington told me he heard from locals there he has passed away but had details. If someone knows how to get a hold of Diane Crane she might know.
