You must have had an epiphany after hitting a ball with that Pau Ferro cue.
I am entitled to my opinion, and I am not afraid to share it... I was pretty P.O.'d when I saw you receive these 2 cues and have them instantly for sale without playing with them when I know of 3 people who are patiently waiting for cues from Jeff who have promised me they will not constantly call Jeff for an "Update" on the cue status since they were told ahead of time of a long wait.
In absolutely no way am I upset with Jeff (well except for his bad habit of constantly low balling himself on the price he charges on his cues, which allows middle men, like you, to almost double what they bought the cue for and that price is still a steal for the quality of cue one gets). I know his waiting list has grown and he has no way of knowing the intentions of a new buyer, whether it be to make a profit, or acquire one of the best playing cues in the world. The 3 people I know are desiring the quality of cue and aim to play with them not sale them.
I also know approximately what you paid for those cues which is way WAY below what they should sale for right out of Jeff's shop. IMHO if Cogs and Blugrass cues of similar style are selling for upwards of $900.00 then Jeffs plain Jane's should be right in the same ballpark.
I realize you are entitled to do whatever you want with these cues. It just pains me to see Jeff, whom I consider a friend, continue to work his ass off, and charge so little for his time and quality, to have someone else snag 'em up and sell them for more than Jeff made on the initial sale and construction of the cue.
Believe me Jeff is humble, if I could build a cue equal to Jeff's specifications and tolerances, you wouldn't be able to own one for under $900.00
