As everyone knows I live in michigan and I have 3 or 4 sources of some of the best shaft wood on the planet. Just a quick mesage before we get started. Those of you that want 25 to 30 grain per inch shaft wood need to look elsewhere because that type of wood is very rare and hard to find. All of my shaft wood comes from the upper part of the lower pennisyla in Michigan, which yields some of the best shaft wood due to sandy soil and dranage of the wood. These shafts are anywhere from 8-15 ring count. I make no guarranty that every shaft would be 15 ring count but they will fall in the above figure. All wood for sale in this post is 2 winters old. All shaft wood I deal in is winter cut wood. These shafts are straight grain and nicely colored. This deal consists of: 2 finished sized shaft blanks as described above. All shaft blanks have been treated with resoulute. Our rejection rate is very small due to the use of the resoulte and because any dowel that doesn't spin true to begin with doesn't go through the shaft making process. When I say finshed shaft, these are slightly over finish size. The butt size is .845-.850. These have a meucci taper. The tip size is slightly bigger than 13mm. These 2 #'s alow you to mate the shaft to an existing cue or a cue being built. On the shaft end it allowes you to supply your customer with 13mm and down. I am sure that you will be satisfied with theses shafts. As I mention before the rejection rate from my customers after recieving the shafts is almost ZERO. Something that very few suppliers of shafts could offer you. This comming from many techniques from over the years and from many of the top cue makers. Allowing me to offfer you what I feel is the worlds finest finished size shaft blanks. Shafts are 30" long.
