ross your a flippin IDIOT if joe wants to sell at 10% over cost thats his business decision but when you figure he's charging double what he should for shipping and if you live in illinois you pay sales tax his will cost you exactly the same as mine do. But i am sure simple math is a little complicated for you!!!!!!!

Wow, how do you know his cost?!?! You must be really good friends with him in order to understand the P&L of his business.....

He's charging double shipping? You mean that you would ship this item for $7.50 anywhere within the US48? Does this include insurance, priority, and signature confirmation? How many cues have you actually sold and shipped? I've sold enough to know that my cost on shipping was usually from $12-$15 per cue.

Correct, if you lived in IL you would pay sales tax, which would be somewhere around 6% addtl, but that still comes in at lower than you are selling.

I can do simple math, which is why I even posted in this thread in the first place. Please don't discount my education, as even I can tell you that proper grammar would tell me to use "you're" rather than "your" as you had so eloquently stated in your opening sentence....

No need for the harsh personal statements towards me, I was simply trying to provide your buying audience with some pictures.....

Well YOU'RE not completely correct sales tax is 8.25% and last time I checked prority mail with insurance and tracking runs about $7.50 or $8.00 and yes I do know what cost is on these cue since I am a dealer for these products and my price is very fair as it is 25% off of retail. Either way I still say YOU'RE an idiot.
 
1) Joe's shipping prices are very reasonable. $15 for priority shipping in a hard tube case with bubble wrap, and handling fees? One of the lowest rates on eBay.
2) Joe's service is incredible. He responds to e-mails at 5am more often than not
3) Joe's prices are great. He probably gets a better deal due to higher volume, but ultimately as a customer do I care why his prices are lower when his service is so exceptional?
4) I am an idiot! (Just saving you the trouble). At least I am in good company.
 
Shinobi i am not stating that Joe's price wasn't good i was simply peeved because i was simply saying that as a smaller retailer of cue's and such that my price was not out of line, it's just the same old thing of someone sitting back just looking to bust somebody's ball's that is trying to pass on a fair deal nuff said.
 
i just sent about 5 cues out in the mail within the last week.. and each one of them after insurance and such was 12.00 +

and if i was a fury dealer.. my goal would be to make sure i sold them on ebay for atleast 5 bux cheaper then the lowest seller was.. and if i couldnt do that.. i probably wouldnt advertise it.
