The story behind this cue is simple. I love Chris Nitti's cues, so I asked him to build me a custom ebony plain jane to my specs in 2007. It's about as plain an ebony cue as you'll find. I had him make it look just like a plain Joss at first glance. The only Nitti identification on it is under the bumper ("Nitti 2007-29") and under the wrap ("Joaquin '07 #29"). Now here I am, in need of a few bucks...and here it is, looking for a new owner who can handle the sweet, concealed playability this very dark ebony fiend has to offer...
Nitti Ebony "Midnight Marauder" Plain Jane
Built 2007 (29); 19oz; (2) 13mm shafts w/ 1" ivory ferrules & Moori M tips (~4oz; 2nd shaft test hit only); Black w/ white speck linen wrap; 1/2" white non-ivory butt cap; JOINT: Thin steel sleeve, thin phenolic sleeve, then wood; No rings; Chris's standard radial pin; all straight; one minor chip at the bottom of the butt cap (~1/8").
Pics shown are from when Chris was building the cue. I'll try to get some updated ones on here ASAP, but I don't have a camera right now. Shoot me a message if you have any questions.
Asking $600 + shipping/insurance.
Thanks!
