F/S Cork Wraps

I acquired quite a few cork wraps in a recent buy-out and have decided to offer
my excess for sale.
These are at least 12-1/2 to 13-1/2" long by .025/.035" thick.
They have a natural rubber matrix which allows them to hold together better.

I've seen these wraps on other sites at $14ea.
I'm offering them much cheaper than that and the more you buy, the cheaper they get.

Qty
1-4 $8ea + $3 s/h
5-9 $7ea + 4 s/h
10+ $6ea + 5 s/h
insurance is additional cost. ($2)

My Pp acct is the same as my email: <kjcues@hotmail.com>

Thanx

KJ is this like the gasket material for cars or is there something diffrent about it? Also how is the consistancy?

That was my first take on them when I first saw them.
The only other style I've seen have no rubber matrix and they were a little brittle/crumbly.
These are very flexible and stay together.

Let me state that I am by no means a master wrap-installer and have very little
experience in cork.
I do on avg. maybe 3 wraps a week. My leather is good and my Linen even better,
just not much call for cork; for me anyway.
That's why I know I've got just way too many of them.

As far as consistency, each individual wrap is consistent within itself.
If it's .030" on one edge, it will be the same on all edges (or very close).
What I am finding is that the thickness from wrap to wrap is varying a little.
Some are @.025" but a lot are @ .030/.035".
This shouldn't be a problem for most as they should sand nicely, particularly the seam.
Too bad you can't do that with leather.
