For sale I have here one Cocobollo Jointed Sly Hoppe Style Sneaky Pete ...
This cue is in great condition lets say 95 percent condition... In fact I recently got the cue back from Sly and he cleaned the shaft up for me and I have not hit with it since... In large part because I have been playing with my Brazailian Rosewood Exotic Wrapless Sly and this cue has been setting safely away in my storage case.

This is the first Sly I ever got from him and it is a monster player . He told me that these Cocobollo jointed cues have the best hit he ever played with . And he was telling the truth the Coco joint in this cue gives the player a unbelieveable hit and feel to the shot... This cue is the cue that got me hooked on Sly's cues and I have several of them coming in on order. This cue is one I truly wanted to keep and it pains me to sell it but the holidays are getting closer and work is slowing down so the money is needed here at home. If not for that I would not sell this cue ... I would not even consider it if I did not have the Brazailian Rosewood Sly ...

Very nice Cocobollo in the cue looks almost two tone ...
You have to see this cue in person to appreciate it's beauty.

Again this cue is a monster ... You will not find many that play any better then this and the cue is in great shape ... The Cocobollo joint gives the cue one of the best hits you will ever experience ... Thank you for looking and reading ...

This all adds up to one Monster player ... I hate to even part with this cue ... If I did not have the Brazailian Rosewood Sly I would not even consider selling this cue ... Some one is going to get one heck of a player here ... This cue will make someone a great Christmas present ... If you have never hit with a Sly you owe it to yourself to do so... I have never hit with a cue that feels any better then a Sly ... This is one of my personal players and I take very good care of my cues... The cue has some tournament wins under it's belt so it is a winner and a cue that will get you through the big games.

Bumpage from the night shift, to the top of page #1 for a nice cue. I see your cue has ivory ferrule, does it have ivory hoppe ring as well? I like the big pin with the wood to wood joint, nice. Good luck with sale....

Hello Pinocchio your great man thank you for the bump... On the hoppe ring I would tend to agree with you ... But I am not sure so I will ask Sly later today when he calls me ... He builds cues through the night and sleeps all day ... I imagine many cue makers do... Must be nice ... lol...

Nice looking Sly sneaky you got there. I have a friend that just joined AZ about 3 weeks ago. I think he`s looking for just this kind of cue. Question#1; Can the weight be changed (lowered) if needed? Question#2 Is this the FIRERY RED COCOBOLO? I`ll inform him of this cue. Thanks & have a nice day Jeff

Yes Sly's cues can be adujusted up and down about one ounce ... ...And Yes this stuff is the Firery Red Cocobollo. Or Mexican Cocobollo as some call it ... This Coco looks unreal it looks like it is almost two tone in several spots on the cue ... Thanks for the compliments on the Sly I assure you it is certainly a cue that I do not want to sell....But need to with the Holidays approaching ....Having my Sly Exotic Wrapless Brazailian Rosewood makes it possible to move this one ...

Yep I sure hated to let it go also ... If I did'nt have that Brazailian Rosewood you made me no way would I of left it go... Besides I have 3 more paid for and on order with you , Your a good man and good to your word so I know I'm in good hands with you making my cues... So I will still have plenty of Sly's ...I will always have a Sly I have found nothing that plays better then a Sly yet ... You make one heck of a cue... After we work though the three I have coming I will have another Cocobollo Jointed cue at the top of my list of cues for you to build for me ... lol... Plus Jeff will always make me one all I have to do is ask...

Yep posted the pics of the MACON job in the gallery under your thread "Keep em coming ...." I had alot of fun up in Macon with you and Lisa and y'all treated my son like he was one of yours ... Your always be a friend Sly we may get upset and argue and fuss at each other but you will be a friend of mine ... The same goes with Jeff... Thank you for making such a great cue ...

Jax your getting a great cue this cue is the one that put me in Sly's band wagon .... I've been hooked on playing with his cues ever since ... And the rest is History ...lol... Your cue is packaged and postage is paid via paypal ... My son will take it to the post office first thing in the morning and it is being shipped express mail just as you requested... Just got the sly cue today.
Shot some balls and love the hit of the cue.

Just love sly's cues.

I like the bright color of the Cocobolo wood.



I may change the weight to 18.5 oz.
and install a Kamui med/soft tip.
Tune up the shaft with micro mesh 1500 to 12000
Finish with leather to close the pores of the wood.
....................you have one sweeeeeeet cue!...............
