I have a Mark Bear full splice blank that is for sale. It's a Bocote with Birdseye maple front. It is 34" long, .960" at joint and 1.350" where it changes from round to square. Plenty of room to move the points forward if desired. It spins straight between centers. All I have done is to apply a coat of sealer to it when I received it. Pictures are here:
