Ringwork : Standard JT-1 make up except with brass rings. Note that the phenolic within the rings does not match the phenolic outside. Judd stated that he had no more of the darker phenolic available so he used that one. He explained that over time that it would darken and match..hmmm..that might take awhile lol.

Collar width : .830 ( Measured bottom collar. Judds cues are know to be thinner. IMHO I wish all cues were the same thickness )
Flaws : Small chip in the finish and a bit into the collar. Nothing that affects play in any way. A new refinish will fix it back to norm. ( this is what happens when someone on league night decides to try out your cue whithout your consent...tsk tsk tsk..lets just say that when I played him later that evening the cue ball accidentally/purposely flew off the table and smacked him in the chest..I called it even. Didn't change anything but I felt better...
Added Info : This OB-2 is particularly darker than most other ob shafts and it is extremely stiffer than most ob-2s but still with equal deflection. Awesome player.
