I have for sell a Mike Stacey 6 Pt. player built in 8/02. I have owned this cue for almost 5 yrs & it hits SOLID. I havent played in over a year & I dont see myself getting into a poolroom anytime soon, so I am selling off most my cues. I know I will regret doing it but right now I just need the money for unexpected happenings. The cue is absolutely gorgeous & the pics do not do it justice.
-It has a cocobolo Forearm with 6 points-3 Long 3 Short (not sure what wood the points are) with 3 Maple veneers natural/black/natural
-Wrap is White/Brown speck Irish Linen
-Butt is Cocobolo with 3 Large Diamonds & 3 Small Diamonds (coinciding with 3 long & 3 short points) of Ambonya Burl (look at the characteristics of that burl, absolutely gorgeous)
-Also has a piece of beautiful Snakewood with amazing grain.
-The cocobolo in this cue is so dark, rich, and beautiful, I wish the pics showed just how nice it looks
-Shaft A is 29", 12.4MM, & not sure what kind of tip, but it is a layered tip
-Shaft B is 29 1/16" , 12MM, & has a Moori Quick tip
-Butt is 29 1/4" with a brown phenolic joint with ring work & I believe a 3/8-11 Brass Joint pin
-Comes with Custom matching JP's made by Kenneth Murrell
-Cue comes in at just a tick over 19oz
-Balance point at around 19 1/2" from the rubber
-Rolls straight - No wobble
Just a well built cue with a solid hit & good feel around the table by a very good, but underrated, cue maker.
