Hole??

Received mine today, really FAST shipping!!! Looks nice. I have a question though, what is the hole below the slide hole for?? Just wondering.

Tried mine yesterday, worked great!!! I have a Atlas 10" lathe so I had to mount it a little differently. The locator pins are a great feature. I drilled small holes into the crossslide just tight enough so I had to press the mount in then the T nut just locks it in. I have a spare crossslide, so I just have to swap it out now when I need to use the router. I'm surprised at the lack of vibrations now. I was using my QC toolpost with a metal bracket and the whole unit had a lot of vibrations. Thanks Todd for a great product and a VERY reasonable price!
