After reading all of the cr@p I can only say I am tired of seeing experienced sellers claim they didnt know blah blah blah.THATS TOTAL bullsh*t. If you shipped the product then before it left your hands your responsible for knowing what your sending. ANYONE who deals in cues can tell a skinny shaft from 12.7 to 12.25 just by looking at it. This cr@p happens alot and it just say's something about the cue business IMO. Honesty is hard to find when it comes time to unload something. I dont care how many deals you've done,it only takes one to ruin you. JV,I've done business with you and mark at valley forge and had a problem 2 years ago. JV and Mark handed me back my 1800 cash 2 hours later once I expressed my problem. Sure, this has been blown up,but it would have never came to that Josh if you would have sent the 300 back and handled the problem your self instead of telling JV to sell the shafts himself,THATS WRONG.
LOL
Your now on many azers sh*t list of sellers

How many times must I say this? I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY TO SEND BACK TO HIM!!!!! My god. Why can't you understand that? If I am on a sh*t list then I'm sure many more people on here are too. This was not done on purpose and I have been trying to resolve the issue the best I could with the funds I currently have. I have seen way worse done on here and on purpose and those people didn't even care. I care. I don't want people to stray from me as a seller but if that happens then there's nothing I can do because I am doing all I can do at this time to resolve it. We have a solution and it's settled. Joe is getting $170 for them and I am sending him $130. The situation is resolved as soon as the money hits his hands which will be very soon I expect. Why is this still a problem? Give it a rest........

I stayed out for a LONG time, but this is rediculous. My opinion, and it seems to be the majority here, is that you should have known what you were sending Josh. It was YOUR responsibility cause YOU sold em' here, not your "buddy". Its not hard to tell a skinny shaft from a 13mm...it really isn't. I feel that the buyer should take NO loss on this, and therefore should get ALL his money back, regardless of whether he'll "starve" or not...Thats b/s to me. You should have made sure the buyer was happy BEFORE giving any money to your "buddy". end of story. You'll probably get mad at me for posting this, but this has gone on WAAAY too long...YOU sold em', HE wasn't happy, just swap back and all is done. I myself have done deals where I've tried to swap back cause buyers weren't happy, but in my case, they were never THAT unhappy to do so...they just "fixed" what they didn't like themselves and left me with whatever we'd "agree'd" on in the first place. In most cases I was happy with that, and in some...well, I won't go there. IMO you were wrong here and needed to "man up" early on but didn't...and now you are. This thread has gone on WAAAY too long, but now we all know whats in store when making "deals" here. Glad to see this issue has finaly been resolved, Jeff

Don't forget to tell them what you bought from me and how satisfied you were with the service and product. Yeah, You of all people who I have seen act a certain way and even get banned recently does bother me a bit to see this kind of reply. Doesn't matter though. All of you can make me out to sound as bad as you want. I don't care anymore.

Josh,

The saddest part of this mess that you created is that buyers...myself included...will be more hesitant to buy used cues on the internet. By your actions you have harmed a lot of innocent people. And you still don't understand that JOE is the victim here. Unbelievable!

My God

People, Can't You Just Leave It Be????????????? Joe Is Getting His Money Back And That Should Be The End Of It!!

The shaft I bought from you? yeah, it came as you said it would and it looked new like you said it was also. I was satisfied with it even though the joint don't match up exactly, but thats not your concern. the cue it was bought for is OLD...so it works. even Rick himself said I'd have to send him the butt and he'd get it as close as he could cause he hasn't used those trim rings in YEARS! (the cue is from 92') I just gave my opinion and if it offended you, theres nothing I can do about it. right is right and wrong is wrong, enuf said. I was banned cause I took things too far, but won't make that mistake again, no matter whats said against me...you can't please everyone so I won't even try anymore. I only said you should have owned up to it sooner...nothing more. I'm glad to see this issue getting resolved finally, so maybe this thread can die. relax a little...I wasn't posting to bust em' for ya', just giving my opinion. I never said you were a BAD seller, just that this deal could have been avoided with a little effort, thats all. anyways, take care, Jeff

OK.. here is how the rest is going to play out.

There is a buyer, he is sending me the money once I inspect the shafts for straightness. If they are what I was told, he will buy them. After I make that arrangement I will then instruct Josh to send his US Postal money order. When I receive that, I will then request payment from the other party. When I get that, then I will send the shafts.

I'm tired of this garbage. Your money is on the way today and I am done with you. Go find someone else to play games with. You have the shafts sold for $170 as you stated and told me to send you $130 and I am doing that today. After that we are done. I don't have time for this. By the way you can tell Roger what ever you want but he's getting the shafts from you. If he doesn't have a problem with the sizes you said then you will not have any problems.

This ain't how it works.. and its still a foreign concept to you.. the shafts are still YOURS, until the new buyer signs off on them. Again, your not giving me your problems for 130.00, or 300.00. This is exactly the reason I insisted you give me the money back. Because of attitudes like yours, I am sure this will never be over.

Bump down to 200.00 or trade for something.. maybe a bag of ruffles and some dip for Sunday? :D All offers can be sent to nineball or myself

So people can get a better understanding of why they can contact me also. These shafts belonged to a friend of mine and he asked for me to post them and see if they would sell because he was in a bind for cash. I asked him to get the shaft sizes as he has access to calipers. He came back and told me 12.7 and 12.8.. I took his word, Listed them for him, And they sold. Joe got them in the mail and had them checked and they were not what my friend told me they were. Joe then contacted me back and asked me what I could do about it. I explained to him that I would contact my idiot friend and let him know the situation. Once I contacted my friend he informed me that he no longer had the money. I then wrote Joe back and let him know he is trying to get the money and that if he just blew me off I would come out of my own pocket $100 to give back and he could also sell the shafts to make up the difference. I have sold atleast 30 items on here that consist of cues, Case, and various other items. Everyone has always been more then happy and I have never had a problem until now. Needless to say this will be the last time I sell something that doesn't belong to me and surely the last time I take someone's word for anything I am selling. Joe, I hope we can work this situation out if the shafts do not sell.

Thanks,
Josh Hillard
No good deed goes unpunished they say .. whoever the f*ck "they" are, but you seem to catch more than your share of bad rolls Josh. Good luck here. You sure keep trying to do the right thing.

Joe,

You need to keep my name out of your mouth. All I did was try to square things away when I thought all that was needed was $75. I realized that I was wrong, plus Josh said he didn't need my money - so I have respectfully not said anything more. Now, you show some respect and leave me out of this.

Well Matt, then you needed to PM Josh and not get into it at all. At that time only you gave him support and my statement still stands in the context that it was used.

this thread...

Josh,

I usually dont get involved in these things but I must say, take responsiblity here..

I think Joe has been very understanding here.. He worked with you to try and sell them so he can get his money back.. He didnt have to do that..

It is Your responsibility to get the money to him. Most buyers would have sent the shafts back to you and you would have been expected to refund the total payment..

Your lesson in this should to always .. I mean always inspect what you are selling especially if dont have the means to pay for the item you are selling..

If you cant buy it yourself.. Dont sell it for another person.. You tried helping a friend and it backfired on you.. Why because you did not have the money to refund to Joe.. Make sure this doesn't happen to you again..

If you dont have enough money to refund buyer stay away from it..

Also.. When you mess up.. When you are in the wrong.. Just be a man and say "I messed up.. I learned a lesson here... Joe, I am sorry. When I get the money I will take care of your $300. Its my fault.. I should have not put myself in this situattion.."

If you did this.. The AZers would see you are trying.. The way you handled this was wrong from what I read... Hopefully you will learn from this, take responsibility and be able to continue to have fun buying and selling cues...

Mike

They rolled within what I consider reasonable tolerance and had they been 12.7 or better I would have kept the shafts. I am picky, so take it as you will. So Josh you need to have the money to me, ASAP. Getting it in Monday's mail would be the smart thing to do.

I won't be cashing anything until the new buyer is COMPLETELY ok with them.

The shafts have been accepted, which I had no reason to think otherwise after they were "accurately" described.
