I have the retired sp8rw for sale. Wood to wood joint, 19 oz. The butt has one very little ding, otherwise clean. (when rolled there is an ever-so-small lift in the very back, the thickness of a credit card. Probably came off the production line with it. 
) The shaft is clean at 3.7oz and 12.75mm.
The ding is in pic 4. I'm not much of a macro pic taker, but I tried! It is in the middle of the pic, very minute.
