I was originally thinking of getting this one for myself, but I don't have the funds. Therefore, putting it up for my friend Jim. Played a few racks with it myself and is an outstanding player. I can definitely see why Randy Mobley cues are in such high demand.

I'm posting all the info he's given me for this cue. '97 Randy Mobley cue. Ebony with 5 Curly Maple points and Ivory diamond inlays at each point. 3 shafts, all with ivory ferrules. Weight is between 18-18.5 oz. Cue can use a finish as it has some scuff marks on both the butt section as well as one shaft.

The cue does not have a visible signature, but Jim's confirmed it with Randy that the signature and date is under the linen wrap. Also said that the buyer (or those interested in it) can call Randy up him/herself and Randy will confirm he made the cue.

Asking $2200 OBO. Since I'm not the one selling the cue, if you have any questions, I'll have to pass it to Jim and get back to you. Final sale will be between the buyer and Jim, as I'll pass along any contact information to him directly.

This is not how this forum works. If YOU post the cue for sale, then YOU are responsible. If you do not want responsibility, then have Jim join the forum and sell it himself. There are many reputable Escrow Services on this forum to satisfy buyer and seller (whomever that may be). $2,200 is a lot of money for someone NOT taking responsibility for.

It looks like a decent cue but better pictures tell the truth. Also specific weights and diameters should be provided at this price point.

I wish Jim good luck with his sale,
Chris
