Up for sale is a vintage Josswest cue. This cue is an awesome example of the work Bill Stroud did back in the late 1970’s. He was clearly ahead of his time and one of a handful of cue makers back then who could create something like this. This cue has ivory points and an ivory buttcap, in fact all the white you see is ivory except the joint. There are four matching shafts and the joint is a rare “big pin” 3/8 10 Implex (or according to the Josswest catalog at the time “Ivory Implex”). This Josswest is in excellent played condition with no major dings or scratches. The butt shows no signs of lifting when rolled at the joint and the shafts are all reasonably straight. I love this cue and will regret selling it however I haven’t played much pool lately and it is just sitting in its case in the closet.
A few months back I was taking some pictures of this cue and noticed some very faint lettering that looks like it used to say “Freddie” on the ebony ring below the wrap ( in the Josswest font or lettering) Here is a link on it:
