Thanks all! I was pretty sure that sticking a thin ring in the chuck wasn't the most effective way to face them! In fact, it made me a little nervous to have the tools running so close to the chuck...Murray Tucker said:Just make a collet out of delrin. You can do a step bore so that your ring sits square on the shoulder and then face it off. Turn it around and face the other side.
