Does anybody know if there are face pechauer cues out there? I found an awsome deal on some of these cues on ebay but after comparing the picture to the same cue on pechauer's website I noticed the staining is darker. the name on the bottom of the cues is a jp using the common vertical line for both letters. Is this what pechauers' logo looks like? The guy has good feedback though. any thoughts?

If you posted a pic or 2 it would help.

Darkness can easily be a matter of exposure, and no 2 pieces of wood will stain exactly the same anyway.

That doesn't mean the cue in question isn't a phony, or that it is.

You have a genuine Pechauer. Jerry/Joe Pechauer make two lines of cues - their Pro series, and the JP series. The Pro series is their higher end cues. What you have is a JP series. The Pro Series are signed "J. Pechauer". The JP series has a "JP" logo on the buttcap, with a double line joining the J and P together.

Hope that helps.

Go to there web site and call them. John will be more then happy to help ya out

I think many of their cues, and others may look different from the pictures on websites. My point being, I have seen several cues online then walk into Seyberts Billiard Supply and take a look in person and they def. look a little different. I've seen stains vary on production cues as well, but with Pechauer I doubt they would much. Hope this helps, if you have any doubt, don't buy it.

heres a pic of the cue if that helps. Its a PH-5.
